As you leave the city of Puerto Varas on route 225, better known as Camino a Ensenada , and leave the residential area behind, the road winds through a beautiful woodland scenery, affording beautiful views of the Osorno and Calbuco volcanoes and at times following the lakes shore. You will see modern houses, small chapels, viewpoints, and restaurants with names that remind us of the German colonization in the area.

Just before you get to Raylen, you will see a small, traditional cemetery on the left hand side and a little further on you'll see our sign announcing the cabins, exactly at the 27th kilometer.
